8 years of high-end renovation plumbing in Sydney, now on the Central Coast. Rough-in, fit-off, new builds, and full renovations done to a standard that lasts.
Call 0402 269 088A bathroom renovation is one of the most involved jobs in a house. Every trade depends on the one before it, and the plumbing is the foundation everything else is built around. If the rough-in isn't right, the tiler has problems. If the drainage falls aren't correct, you'll know about it for years. Getting the plumbing done properly the first time saves time, money, and headaches for everyone on the project.
Beau spent 8 years doing high-end renovation and maintenance plumbing throughout Sydney before establishing Coastal Ways on the Central Coast. That's hundreds of bathrooms, ensuites, and laundries -- from heritage terraces in the Inner West to new builds in the Hills District. He knows what quality renovation plumbing looks like and how to coordinate with other trades to keep the project running smoothly.
Whether you're working with a builder, managing the renovation yourself, or just replacing a few fixtures, Coastal Ways handles both the rough-in (first fix -- the pipes behind the walls and under the floor) and the fit-off (second fix -- connecting the fixtures, tapware, and accessories once tiling is complete).
We're happy to work with whatever fixtures and tapware you've chosen, or we can help you select quality products that suit your budget and the design. We'll also flag anything that might cause issues down the track -- like a basin tap that's too tall for the mirror placement, or a shower head position that will spray outside the screen.
Initial consultation -- Beau will look at the existing bathroom, discuss your plans, review any drawings, and talk through the plumbing requirements. He'll flag anything that might affect the design or budget before work begins.
Rough-in stage -- this happens after demolition and before waterproofing. All the water supply pipes, drainage, and gas lines (if applicable) are installed in the walls and floor. Getting this right is critical -- everything else builds on top of it.
Coordination with other trades -- plumbing needs to be done at specific stages relative to waterproofing, tiling, and electrical. Beau works directly with your builder or other trades to make sure the scheduling works.
Fit-off stage -- once tiling is complete, Beau returns to install all the fixtures: toilet, basin, tapware, shower head, towel rails, and any accessories. This is the stage where attention to detail really shows.
Timeline -- a typical bathroom renovation takes 2-4 weeks depending on complexity. The plumbing rough-in is usually a day, and the fit-off is another day. Beau will give you specific timing for your project.
Not all plumbers do renovations well. Beau's background is in high-end renovation work across Sydney -- he knows how to work to the standard a good renovation demands.
Renovation plumbing is all about coordination. Beau communicates clearly with builders, tilers, and waterproofers to keep the project on track.
The fit-off stage is where the details matter most. Straight tapware, perfectly aligned fixtures, clean silicone lines. The small things that separate a good result from a great one.
